Bible Studies 2019

Bible Studies are always open to everyone. We enjoy connecting to one another through open discussion about God's Word and how it applies in our everyday lives. You will find friendship and accountability as you study the bible with other women growing their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Due to COVID-19 we are meeting in the Ghysels' home with a limited number of places so that we can respect one another's space. We are also offering a review of the study in our online studies on this site. If you would like more information please email Debra HERE

  • Thurs. Morning Bible Study

    9:30 am to 11:30 am

Jesus grew up as a Jewish boy, and most likely followed the Jewish ways of life. Did you know that it was customary to participate in daily appointed times of prayer which involved some type of liturgy? Before tasting any food, when seeing a rainbow, after hearing thunder, and even after using the bathroom, Jews utter a brief expression of thanks. Many Jews try to be aware of even the smallest, most mundane details of life and carry them out in a way that acknowledges the presence of God.

We can be sure that Jesus would have participated in the daily appointed time of prayer, but we also read about His own unique practice concerning prayer in the Gospels. Join us as we look at prayer from Jesus' perspective!
