Winter Retreat 2018

February 2-4

Have you experienced the joy and exhilaration of worshipping our God when it is just you and your Sovereign Lord? Do you experience the importance of a personal worship time? I believe our relationship with Jesus will rise and fall in relation to our time of not only of being in prayer, but also WORSHIP!!

My hunch is we don't carve the time for worship because, in our fast paced culture, our minds are transfixed on staying connected to the world around us and we fail to focus on the eternal. We seek fulfillment from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the news, or other social media which clogs our mind and our ability to connect to the one true God.

God calls us to Worship and to Be Still. If you struggle, like most of us, we encourage you to escape the mundane and spend three fulfilling days learning to Be Still and know our God in a way that will lead to true heartfelt worship!

Our guest speaker, Lisa Meiners, is back by popular demand! You will enjoy her enthusiasm and passion for walking in the presence of our great God. Speaker and teacher, Lisa spends her life in an act of true worship!

  • Guest Speaker - Lisa Meiner

I can relate to the Apostle Paul -- not the persecute the church, stone Stephen part, the looking good on paper part.

I was born into a loving Christian home with committed Christian parents. I grew up in church, went to youth group and Bible camp. I even married a pastor's son! But if i'm transparent, it wasn't until I was in college that my relationship with the Lord truly began.

Over the next 14 years, I would embark on a journey with my Lord from New York to Ohio; from a college graduate to a new bride to a mother of three; from teaching students in Staten Island to teaching women the importance of hiding God's Word in their hearts.

Today, I can still relate to the Apostle Paul. This time, though, it has nothing to do with who I am or where I come from and everything to do with my passion to share the Good News. My heart is to teach from His Word because without it hidden in our hearts, we have nothing to stand on.

Deeper Still Ministries was founded from my heartfelt desire to see women of God not only know the truths of God's Word, but to go DEEPER STILL by applying and living out these truths. Why Deeper Still? It's really quite simple. No matter who you are, whether you're a brand new Christian or have been walking with the Lord for many years, you can always go DEEPER STILL!

We are excited to have Lisa lead our Winter Retreat to BE STILL!!
